My Mom Uniform: Is It Fall Yet?

Growing up in the north east, I prefer the colder, snowier winter weather to the Texas heat, but since I've been in Texas for almost a decade, I've gotten soft. My blood's thinned out a bit. I do love the fall. Give me boots, dark muted colors, scarves, and rich jewel tones. I couldn't help but drool over this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale when it went live for cardholders.

After doing a little browsing and wiping my laptop keyboard, I came across this sweater. In addition to being budget friendly, the zippered front makes it breastfeeding friendly. It's available in several colors and loose enough to hide a postpartum belly, if that's your preference. On the other hand, it's long enough to half tuck if you would rather definite your figure a bit more. Fitted but not tight boyfriend jeans and a killer pair of booties add to the casual look. Finishing it off are a neutral diaper bag, turquoise and black nursing necklace, and edgy (but baby friendly) earrings.
