What you see below is what I wore on Easter. We didn't do anything fancy, just organized an egg hunt in the backyard with the kids. I shared the image on the left to Instagram and received several messages about where I got those jeans. I also received a few messages from a couple of friends who wanted to wear pastel jeans, but weren't quite sure how.

While I prefer to wear them in a more casual way, I really liked wearing the ripped jeans with a preppier top. This striped peplum hem top from J.Crew (purchased spring 2015) was a nice feminine contrast to the holes in the jeans. For an even less refined look, I'd pair it with a graphic tee, slip on athletic flats, and a messy bun.

I put together a style board with a few shirts that I would pair with the same pair of jeans I'm wearing. I've included a good variety of options, from casual graphic tees to a floral choice that would be great for a Sunday brunch. The tops on the right are breastfeeding friendly. The pink breastfeeding friendly blouse pictured below can be purchased here. As always, shoppable links are at the end of this post, including links to some plus size colored denim.
